Proof of what happened.
An independent record of remote industrial sites, built from the cameras, access control and sensors already there.

The monthly report is assembled by hand, and nobody can prove what happened.
- Reports are pieced together from occurrence books, WhatsApp groups, camera recorders and spreadsheets, and take days.
- Response times are estimated, not measured. When a client disputes one, there is no evidence to settle it.
- Site owners pay every month for a service they have no way to check.
One record, built from what is already on site.
A small gateway reads what is there
It reads events from your cameras, access control and sensors, keeps them safe through connectivity outages, and connects outbound only.
One timeline
Every system's events in order, with device clocks corrected and equipment named the way your site names it.
The report, with evidence
Measured response times, patrols, every gap in coverage with its cause, and every figure traceable to its source.
How we start. We produce your monthly report by hand, from your own records, before any software is installed. We would rather get a few real reports right than sell you a half-built system. The software follows once the reports are right.
Your operation carries on exactly as it is.
- It does not watch your cameras or dispatch anyone.
- It does not change your systems or the way your team works.
- It does not rank individual guards. Performance is reported by shift and site.
What happens on your site stays on your site.
The people who produce the report, and the people who rely on it.
Security and operations providers
A monthly report that takes hours instead of days, and evidence ready when a client questions a figure.
Owners of remote sites
Mines, solar farms, substations, water works and packhouses. Know what you are paying for, night by night.
Compliance consultancies
Monitoring data, site records and exceedances on one timeline, with the cause and the response beside each one.
How the record is kept.
Nothing is hidden
Every gap in coverage is shown with its cause and what was done about it.
Nothing is rewritten
A delivered report is never altered. Corrections arrive as dated amendments beside the original.
Every figure traces to its source
Each figure can be traced to the log, record or entry it came from.
Your site stays yours
Read-only access, footage left on your recorder, and your data returned on request.
It measures the work, not people
Performance is reported by shift and site, never as rankings of individual guards.
We are accountable too
Any error we make is reported to you in writing, with what caused it.
Built by an engineer who knows site systems.
Sbonakaliso Ngcobo, founder. An engineer with exposure to operational technology: the control, monitoring and security systems that industrial sites run on.
Origyn started from a simple observation: the systems on a site each keep their own records, and nobody keeps the combined one. So when something happens, nobody can prove it.
Origyn is based in South Africa and is starting with hand-produced pilots for service providers, before building the software from real reports rather than assumptions.
Tell us how your report gets made today.
Twenty minutes is enough. We will ask how last month's report came together and how long it took. There is nothing to sell you on the call.
Book a 20-minute call
Pick a time that suits you. When booking, you will be asked how many sites you report on and roughly how long your monthly report takes.

Request the sample report
A full monthly report for a fictional 40 MW solar site: coverage gaps, incidents, a reconciled timeline and patrols. Sent to you personally.
Thank you. The sample is on its way.
Sbonakaliso will send it to you personally, usually the same working day, together with a time for a 20-minute call if you would like one.
How we handle your details
What we collect
When you book a call or request the sample report, we receive your name, company, work email, and your answers about the number of sites and how long your report takes.
Why
Only to reply to you, send what you asked for, and arrange and hold the call. We do not use your details for anything else, and we do not sell or share them.
Who else handles them
Our booking and form tools store these details on our behalf, solely so that we can receive them.
How long we keep them
For as long as we are in contact about your enquiry, and no longer than twelve months after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted.
- Object to us contacting you.
- Complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa if you are unhappy with how we have handled your information.
